US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) designated Escape Rescue Systems technology as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) under the SAFETY act.

The purpose of the SAFETY Act Public law is to encourage the development and deployment of anti-terrorism technologies that will substantially enhance the protection of the nation.
